Refund Policy

At Pranic Healing DC, we only want you in the room if this is right for you. That's why our refund policy is simple, generous, and honest — the same policy we'd want if we were the ones registering.

If you have any question about your specific situation, email us at info@pranichealingdc.com or call/text (202) 743-3535 before you register, or before you request a refund. We'd rather talk it through than have you guess.

Our Promise, in Plain English

  • Change your mind more than 7 days before class? Full refund. No questions asked.

  • Something urgent comes up in the final 7 days? Talk to us — we'll roll your registration into the next class at no charge.

  • Attend the first morning and decide it isn't for you? Tell us before lunch on Saturday and we'll refund your tuition in full.

  • Registered for the Basic + Advanced Bundle? The same policy applies to each class independently.

The sections below spell out the details.

1. Full Refund Window (7+ Days Before Class)

You may request a full refund of your tuition for any reason up to 7 calendar days before your class start date, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Refunds are processed within 5 business days of your request

  • Depending on your bank or card issuer, the credit may take an additional 3–10 business days to appear on your statement

  • There is no cancellation fee and no restocking fee

To request a refund, email info@pranichealingdc.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include the name on your registration.

2. Final Week (Less Than 7 Days Before Class)

Life happens. If something urgent comes up in the final week before class — illness, a family emergency, a work conflict, a travel disruption — contact us right away.

In the final 7 days before class, we cannot issue a cash refund because seats and materials are already committed. But we will do one of the following at no charge to you:

  • Roll your registration into the next scheduled Basic Pranic Healing (or Advanced Pranic Healing) weekend, whichever you originally registered for

  • Transfer your registration to another person you choose (a friend, family member, or colleague) — just email us their full name so we can update our roster

  • Apply your tuition as a credit toward any future Pranic Healing DC workshop within 12 months

Reach out as soon as you know. The sooner we hear from you, the more flexible we can be.

3. First-Morning Guarantee (After Class Begins)

We want you here because it's right for you — not because you feel locked in.

If you attend the first morning of class and decide by the lunch break on Saturday that this isn't for you, let Luis know in person before you leave. We will refund your tuition in full, no questions asked. You keep the course manual as our thank-you for showing up with an open mind.

This applies only to the first morning. Once you return from lunch on Saturday, you are considered fully enrolled and Section 4 applies.

4. After Saturday Lunch

Once you return to class after the Saturday lunch break — or if you choose not to attend without prior notice — the tuition is fully earned and non-refundable.

If a serious emergency prevents you from completing the weekend (medical event, family emergency, etc.), please contact us. At our discretion, we may offer a credit toward a future class. This is not guaranteed, but we do our best to work with you.

5. If Pranic Healing DC Cancels or Reschedules

If we cancel or reschedule a class for any reason — low enrollment, instructor illness, venue issue, weather, or otherwise — you will be notified by email and phone as soon as we know.

You will have two options:

  1. Roll your registration to the next scheduled class at no additional cost

  2. Receive a full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days

We are not responsible for travel, lodging, or other third-party costs you may have booked in connection with the class. We strongly recommend refundable bookings if you are traveling from outside the DC area.

6. Basic + Advanced Bundle Refunds

If you registered for the $975 Basic + Advanced Bundle, the policies above apply to each class independently:

  • Cancel both classes 7+ days before the Basic class? Full refund of $975.

  • Cancel only the Advanced portion 7+ days before the Advanced class? We refund the Advanced portion at the individual class rate ($500) — not the bundled portion — so you keep the Basic class at its normal price. Net refund: $475.

  • Attend the Basic weekend, then cancel Advanced 7+ days before the Advanced start date? Same as above — $475 refunded.

  • Cancel Advanced with less than 7 days notice? Section 2 applies — we roll you into the next Advanced class or issue a 12-month credit.

If this math ever gets confusing, email us. We will always err on the side of what's fair to you.

7. How to Request a Refund

Email info@pranichealingdc.com with:

  • Your full name (as it appears on the registration)

  • The class you registered for (Basic Pranic Healing, Advanced Pranic Healing, or Bundle)

  • The class date

  • The reason for your refund request (optional, but helpful for us to improve)

  • The email address and last four digits of the card used at checkout (so we can locate the transaction)

You will receive a confirmation reply within 1 business day and the refund itself within 5 business days of that reply.

8. Payment Processor & Card Issuer Notes

  • Refunds are issued through Wix Payments (our payment processor)

  • The refund will appear on your statement as a credit from "WIX" or "PRANIC HEALING DC"

  • Original processing fees charged by Wix Payments are refunded along with your tuition — you will not lose any percentage to fees

  • If you paid with a currency other than USD, the refund is issued in USD at the exchange rate on the day of refund; small differences from your original charge may occur due to currency conversion. This is outside our control.

9. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you have any concern about a charge from Pranic Healing DC, please contact us first at info@pranichealingdc.com or (202) 743-3535. We answer promptly and we would much rather resolve any issue directly than through a chargeback process.

Initiating a chargeback with your bank without contacting us first will delay your refund by 30–90 days (the standard bank dispute cycle) and may prevent us from offering the flexible remedies described above (credit toward a future class, transfer to another person, etc.).

We are committed to fair, prompt resolution. Please give us the chance to help.

10. Gift Registrations and Third-Party Purchases

If you purchased a class as a gift for someone else, refund requests must come from the person named on the registration (the recipient), not from the purchaser, unless we have written permission from the recipient to speak with the purchaser about the account.

If the gift recipient decides not to attend, all policies above apply to them as if they had registered themselves.

11. Digital Materials and Certificates

Once a class begins, digital materials (recordings, if any, downloadable PDFs, meditation audio) and the Certificate of Completion (for students who complete the full weekend) are considered delivered and are not refundable, even if the tuition itself is refunded under Section 3.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version that applies to your registration is the version that was live on the day you registered. If we change the policy after you register, the old policy protects you — you are never disadvantaged by a change.

The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
